Huu Bui

Huu Bui is the Tutorial Services Specialist for the EOPS/CARE & CalWORKs Tutoring Center. Over the past 20 years he’s worked at Mt. SAC, Huu has been actively involved in helping students achieve academic success. As a former Mt. SAC EOPS and Bridge student, he understands the impact such programs can have on a student who may not otherwise receive adequate support/encouragement outside of a school setting. Having been in their position, Huu has dedicated himself to give back to a program and school that once did so much for him. Huu shares his passion for math and his dedication to his work with every student he encounters. He strives to provide a positive and welcoming learning environment; as he realizes the importance it holds for students yearning to belong. Huu has made it his mission to help students overcome adversity and prove they are capable of accomplishing great things. As stated by Roy T. Bennet, “Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.” It is this belief that he tries to instill in each and every student.
