Franklin Reynolds, Professor of Communication

Welcome! My name is Professor Franklin D. Reynolds. Since 2017, I have been a full-time member of the Communication Department at Mt. San Antonio College. I have over 20 years of college-level teaching experience, including 15 years for the City Colleges of Chicago prior to coming to Mt. SAC. My undergraduate studies are in Speech Communication Theory and Public Relations from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. My master's degree is in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois (60 miles west of Chicago). I also have additional graduate work beyond my master's degree in classes geared towards my work as a professor (coursework in the law of higher education, teaching with technology, course design, and conflict resolution). I enjoy teaching SPCH 1A (Public Speaking), SPCH 2 (Survey of Communication), and SPCH 6 (Group).

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy watching dramatic TV shows (The Crown, Succession, etc.) eating chocolate, and staying aware of current events.
