Barry Andrews is a full-time professor and Department Chair of the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department. He graduated from Indiana University with a BS Degree in Business Finance in 1986 and moved to California to begin his career. He worked as a retail store manager for over 15 years before going back to school to earn an MBA in Management Information Systems from California State University Fullerton (CSUF) in 1998.
After earning his computer degree Barry worked at Southern California Edison as a computer programmer and taught computer classes at CSUF. In 2000 Barry began teaching full-time at Mt. SAC and has been the department chair of the CIS department since 2009.
Barry lives in Brea with his wife, two sons and dog. He enjoys exercising, playing basketball, and coaching youth sports.
