Way to Go Joe Award Goes to Risk Management

The Way to Go Joe award is a department-to-department award that is passed along quarterly and administered by the Mt. SAC VOICES Committee, which is focused on employee recognition across campus.

The Mt. SAC Faculty Center for Learning Technology staff received the Way to Go Joe Award last quarter in recognition of outstanding service. The VOICES Committee now gets to pass the award along to another deserving department. VOICES chose Risk Management.

VOICES has become aware of all the effort and guidance Risk Management has provided to faculty and staff campus wide.

Providing the proper PPE resources has been instrumental in ensuring the campus community remain safe. Helping to put in place protocols and procedures for departments and classes to abide by while working on campus has allowed for continued success. Aside from PPE, providing additional resources for staff to function while working from home has shown the high level of customer service Risk Management department upholds. Herculean efforts have been made in preparation for the return to campus and it is a breath of fresh air to know that the campus is prepared and ready to safely welcome back staff and students.
