Employee Wellness Fair to bring support, resources to campus

Mt. SAC employees will be given access to mental, physical, nutritional, and financial support and resources at the annual Employee Wellness Fair on Thursday, Nov. 7. 

“This Wellness Fair is available to our employees annually to promote what we offer to support their overall well-being,” said Lorraine Jones, Mt. SAC’s Health/Fitness Coordinator.

The Employee Counseling Center and Therapy Dogs of Southern California will provide methods for a mental health boost, and Hello Fresh and Acal Republic will have a menu of options for healthy food choices and meal prepping ideas.  

The Wellness Center, the college’s gym facility, also will have a resource booth, and Run Republic will offer free foot analysis for proper selection of exercise shoes. Employees will find medical support from St. Jude Medical and Kaiser, dentist information from Delta Dental, and retirement resources from SchoolsFirst Credit Union too. 

Prizes also will be raffled off, and winners do not need to be present to win. 

The event begins at 10 a.m. between Buildings 4 and 61 and runs until 1 p.m.
