Bio:
As a first-generation college student from a low-income, immigrant family, Teresa was able to navigate her way through higher education with the help of a Federal Work-Study job in the Financial Aid Office of her community college. This chance experience paved the way for a career in Financial Aid for the past 15 years. She is passionate about connecting students to financial resources & has spent the last 5 years at Mt. SAC as the Scholarship Program Specialist.

Why do you like participating in the Mountie Mentor Program?
I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for the countless mentors in my life that encouraged me along the way. I love the mission behind the Mountie Mentor Program & enjoy connecting with students & encouraging students to apply for scholarships ;) !!!
