My name is Prof. Taka and I am an adjunct professor in the Sociology department. I really enjoy reading and spending time with my family! 

Why do you like participating in the Mountie Mentor Program?
I really enjoy interacting with and sharing my own experiences with the students and helping them along on their academic journeys!

Advice for students:
Utilize your time at Mt. SAC to explore different fields and to latch onto a subject that really suits your interests and career. Also, do not get discouraged when challenges arise!
