Bio:
I am a first generation college student who grew up in La Puente, CA. I am a proud Mt. SAC alumni who transferred to Cal State Fullerton for my undergraduate degree. I have my masters from the University of La Verne and currently work as and Educational Advisor in the Financial Aid Scholarships and Veterans Department. I am also part of the Equity Center family as and Adjunct counselor for the REACH program. I am passionate about giving back to my community and helping students achieve their academic goals.Why do you like participating in the Mountie Mentor Program?

My advice to students is to utilize your resources on campus. Get involved in a support program. Don't be afraid to ask for help and when it gets tough do not give up. Remember why you started college to keep you motivated throughout your academic journey.
