Derek Dokter is an engaging and creative professor with a proven record of performance by focusing on motivating students to achieve higher learning goals. He promotes community connections to add value to students in the marketplace. Derek is known to effectively meet the needs of faculty and students by successful problem-solving, organizational skills, and excellent communication. He has passion for providing an inclusive environment that includes positive interaction, a trusted setting, and technology advanced experience. 

Why do you like participating in the Mountie Mentor Program?
I enjoy dialogue with students and seeing enthusiasm about being in college. My hope is to encourage and motivate our students towards success. 

Advice for students:
