Bio:
I have been an Instructor for NNS and English Composition classes for approx. twenty-one years. I graduated from Cal Poly with a BA degree in History and MA degree in English. Also, I graduated from Mt. SAC with an AA degree in Liberal Arts and an AS degree in Paralegal Studies. As a student at Mt. SAC, I worked as a student worker in the library and communications department. Also, I worked as a front desk support for Advisement and Academic Counseling.

Why do you like participating in the Mountie Mentor Program?
I want students to know that goals can be reached with a positive attitude. Also, if there is a blockage of goals, be aware that you can go around the blockage in order to reach those goals.

Advice for students:
You are not alone in your academic journey. You learn the power of prayer while you are attending college and after graduation. Finally, you never stop learning\obtaining knowledge and fear can be an obstacle that you need to overcome.
