Goals

  • Goal #1:  Committee website up-to-date.
  • Goal #2:  Identify basic resource needs of the Mt. SAC student population and report findings. 
  • Goal #3:  Identify on-and off-campus services and resources that assist students with challenges regarding basic needs.  
  • Goal #4:  Recommend and foster effective outreach strategies and professional development opportunities to educate the campus community about students’ basic needs.  
  • Goal #5:  Maintain current and create partnerships with local, regional, and statewide public and private agencies to provide resources for students in need.  
  • Goal #6:  Recommend outcomes-based strategies to institutionalize effective and sustainable basic needs support for students in need.  
  • Goal #7:  Advise on planning and budgeting on basic needs.
  • Goal #8:  Recommend clear and efficient methods of student referrals to basic needs resources are provided to faculty and staff.
