What motivated you to go to college? To pursue a better life (by graduating from overseas, we potentially can get hire in a more prestigious company/organization)

Describe your college experience as first-generation. Extremely hard especially as an international student; need to navigate everything alone from housing, transportation, college life (how to registered, how to read the schedule booklet, etc) but thank God with all the help from Student Services Team (international student office & Transfer Center Team) that always encourage me to keep going and continued on pursuing my educational goals i was able to overcome the obstacles that i experienced.

What unique challenges did you face? Do not how to read the schedule book & registered for classes, how to find the classroom,

How did you overcome those challenges? Join international student club and honor club; besides visiting my counselor in a regular basis to updated my Ed. Plan

What did you advise other first-generation students? Please utilize your Student Services Programs and be proactive (by joining clubs and/or associated students leadership program)
Read all announcement that sent from the campus to your email to better equipped you on what's going on/happening on campus
Regularly visit/check-in with your Counselor to update your Ed. Plan.
