All of these scholarships are specifically for students in agriculture, animal science or RVT related majors. We encourage you to apply for any of these scholarships that you feel you are eligible for! You can't get free money if you don't apply!!!
Animal Science Scholarships

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Scholarships
- SCVMA Education & Scholarship Foundation - Supports students enrolled in AVMA-accredited RVT or veterinary programs in Southern California.
- Dechra / AVMF Veterinary Technician Scholarships - Scholarships for final-year vet tech students demonstrating leadership and academic excellence.(Application period opens Sept. 1 and closes Sept. 30, 2026)
- Zoetis Foundation / AVMF Veterinary Technician Student Scholarship - Application period opens Oct. 1 and closes Oct. 31, 2026
VTNE Exam scholarship:
This scholarship offered by the Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society (VECCS)
is designed to help students take the VTNE exam. It offers a stipend of $500 and
a 1 year membership to VECCS.
Applications are open during the following windows:
- October 15th - November 15th
- December 15th - February 15th
- April 15th - May 15th
- July 15th - August 15th
