Mt. SAC’s vocal jazz ensemble Frontline won first place in the two-year college division at the 2018 Reno Jazz Festival held Apr. 26 - 28.

Twenty-six of Mt. SAC's career education programs were recently recognized as Strong Workforce Stars, including four programs earning gold status to give Mt. SAC highest number of programs recognized as gold among Los Angeles County community colleges.

Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Richard Carmona will speak at Mt. SAC’s 12th Annual Health Professions Conference on Friday, May 4, at 8 a.m., in the Design Technology Center auditorium, 13-1700.

The award-winning Mt. SAC Jazz Band’s spring concert will be held Thursday, May 3, 7:30 p.m., in the Clarke Theater.
