The political cartoonist, and consultant for the movie Coco, Lalo Alcaraz, will be at Mt. SAC to speak about his contributions to the movie, the history of Dia de Los Muertos, and how the blockbuster success of Coco has impacted Hollywood. You will have an opportunity to hear Lalo share about how his consultation helped Disney Pixar make a culturally relevant movie that is receiving widespread praise within the Latino community.
As an added bonus, later that day, all students in attendance are invited to an afternoon
screening of Coco at Harkins Theater in Chino Hills. (Exact start time is TBD.)
