Serena Potter was born in Los Angeles, California. She received her BFA from the University of Utah and her MFA in painting from Laguna College of Art and Design, where she is currently a mentor in their MFA in painting program. She teaches Art History and Drawing at National University, Drawing at Mt. San Antonio Community College. Her paintings are included in private collections throughout the United States, Europe and Mexico, as well as in the permanent collection of the Hilbert Museum of California Art. She recently had a solo show at Lois Lambert Gallery in Santa Monica, CA and an artist residency and The Long Beach Museum of Art.
