Horticulture's Annual Salsa Sale
Featuring Fruit trees, Herbs, Tomatoes, Clivias, and Ornamental Plants
Date: April 2 - 4th
Time: 8am - 12:00pm
Location: South Lawn East
Single Variety and Premium Fruit Trees:
Almond, Apple, Apricot, Cherry, Donut peach (white), Figs (black mission/kadota, Jujube, Dwarf and Pakistan Mulberr, Nectaplum, Nectarine (white, Pea, Peach (yellow, Persimmon, Pineapple guava, Pineapple Quince, Plums, Pleurry, Taiwan Flowering Cherry (ornamental, and miniature peach/nectarine (yellow).
Multigrafted Fruit Trees:
4 n 1 Apple (Anna, Fuji, Dorsett Golden, and Gordon apples)
4 n 1 Fruit Salad (peach, apricot, nectarine, and plum)
4 n 1 Plum (Methley, Santa Rosa, Golden, and Burgundy)
Fruiting Shrubs:
Blueberries, Blackberries (thornless), Boysenberries (thornless), Raspberries (red and gold), Grapes, Kiwis, and Pomegranates.
Herbs:
Rosemary, Peppermint, Thyme, Greek oregano, and Onion Chives.
Tomatoes:
Roma, Yellow Pear, Red Cherry, Cherokee Purple, and Big Red
Ornamentals:
We will also bring beautiful orange clivias, houseplants, sages, and succulents.
Selling fruit trees, herbs, tomatoes, clivias, succulents, houseplants, and ornamental plants. Plants were grown by Horticulture students on the Mt. SAC farm. Students will be on hand to assist with plant selection and care. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the horticulture unit and to provide an experience for Horticulture students to learn about selling and customer service.
