Korean cinema, known for its distinctive storytelling, innovative techniques, and genre-blending, has gained international acclaim in recent years. The Department of World Languages is excited to announce the launch of our new course: Korean 60 – Korean Culture through Cinema. This course is designed to provide an overview of Korean culture through cinema starting from the1960s, with an emphasis on “New Korean Cinema” of the 2000s, all the way to the present. There are no prerequisites and class is conducted in English
