Having spent the last 5 years teaching at various institutions including Florida State University, Azusa Pacific University, Riverside Community College and other conservatories, Matthew is proud to be part of the Mt. San Antonio Theatre Faculty.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and a Master's Degree from Florida State University. He is currently the Co-Artistic Director of Vanguard Repertory Company in Los Angeles, which produces the annual La Cañada Flintridge Shakespeare Festival (LCFShakes).

An award winning director, he has most recently mounted productions of St. Joan, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oedipus Rex, Metamorphoses, Marat/Sade and The Death of Zukasky, written by Mt. SAC's very own Richard Strand.
