Beckette has been designing costumes since 1987.   She teaches Theatrical Make-Up and Costume Design here at Mt. SAC and has designed the costumes for Mt. SAC productions since 2001. She also teaches and designs at Cypress College’s Theater and Dance Department as well as doing freelance costume design around L.A. whenever possible. You may have seen her recent work here for High Pockets, The Mousetrap, Lysistrata, Camino Real and SubUrbia, among many others. Beckette received her M.F.A. from CSU Long Beach and her B.S. from CSU Fort Collins, Colorado.
