Ward Carlisle

Ward has been designing the lighting at Mt. SAC since the 2003 production of The Laramie Project. He studied lighting design at Occidental College, CalArts, and the Yale School of Drama. Ward’s first job was as a technician and designer at Disneyland. For the next 20 years, he divided his time between working as a theatrical lighting designer (100+ professional productions) and as a concert touring master electrician. More recently, he has worked for the Secor Group, and managed the Electronics and Icon department at Light and Sound Design. He recently retired from ACT Lighting, where he was Operations Manager.
