Welcome to the Teacher Preparation Institute website. Teaching is a rewarding profession in many, many ways, and California will need over 10,000 new Kindergarten through Twelve Grade teachers in the next ten years. Being a part of this program provides you with special support and services to help you choose classes, make transfer decisions, and complete a teaching credential in elementary, secondary or special education teaching, as well as an Associate Degree for instructional aides.
