Need a no-stress way to get around? Mt. SAC students can ride public transit for free with the GoPass, whether it's for school, work or fun. Students enrolled in at least one credit unit are eligible.
Where to Use the GoPass
The GoPass is an expanded version of the Class Pass. It allows Mt. SAC students to ride public transit for free, whether it's for school, work or fun. Beginning Fall 2022, in addition to rides on Foothill Transit buses, students can also ride on Metro Bus and Rail, City of Commerce, Culver CityBus, Gardena Transit (GTrans), Glendale Beeline, LADOT Dash, LA County Shuttles, Long Beach Transit, Montebello Bus, Norwalk Transit, Pasadena Transit, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, and Torrance Transit.
How to Get Your GoPass
If you had a Class Pass last year, your pass will no longer automatically reload. You need to get a GoPass for the current semester. Follow the instructions below to get your pass re-loaded for the current semester.
STEP 1: Get a Student ID and TAP Sticker
Get your student ID and TAP Sticker at the SacBookRac, the college bookstore in Building 9A. They'll verify you're enrolled in at least one credit unit to qualify for this program. Already have them? Go to the next step.
STEP 2: Get Your Eligibility Code
Get your unique GoPass Eligibility Code at www.mtsac.edu/gopasscode. Click on the student tab and you’ll find your code by clicking on the link at the bottom of the menu. Having trouble accessing the code? Call the Help Desk at (909) 274-4357.
STEP 3: Activate Your GoPass Each Semester
Your pass will not work until you activate it with your eligibility code by visiting
taptogo.net/gopass or calling 1-866-TAP TO GO (827-8646). Use it within
30 days or it will be deactivated. Renew your pass each Fall and Spring semester.
Fall passes work through the Winter and Spring passes work through the Summer.
