Computer Literacy & Keyboarding

ABE computer classes help students gain skills in various computer applications, Internet web searching, emailing, and basic computer literacy.  Students may also learn computer skills through self-study, with support provided by instructors and lab assistants.  In addition, students can obtain Microsoft Office 2016 certificates by completing a series of computer tests that will demonstrate acquired knowledge and proficiency of each program.

Please go to www.abeupdates.com to find out how ABE is offering courses online during the campus closure and to register for programs.

The ABE computer lab offers excellent vocational preparation in the following software applications:
  • Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Access)
  • Various keyboarding tutorial software programs
  • QuickBooks Pro 2018
Registration is ongoing and can be done in person during ABE lab hours. Please visit the ABE Lab's Twitter page to access daily computer class offerings www.twitter.com/abeschedule.
