CHLD 67L  Early Childhood Education Practicum Laboratory

Prerequisite: Proof of immunizations and TB vaccinations prior to enrollment.
Corequisite: CHLD 67

Supervised teaching experience in an early care and education setting. Students will plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities for children. Emphasis on child guidance, effective communication, curriculum planning, and evaluation. Students must meet the immunization requirements under California Senate Bill 792, including tuberculosis (TB) clearance and vaccinations for measles, influenza, and tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap) or provide a medical/religious exemption. Concurrent enrollment in CHLD 67 required.
