With over 55 certificate programs, the Mt. SAC School of Continuing Education offers a variety of tuition-free, noncredit courses to prepare for a career or upgrade skills.

Accelerated Emergency Medical Technician Orientation

EMT Orientations will be held April 10, 2020
Session I | 10:00am*
Session II | 4:00pm*
 

*Note: Please check back for information regarding the date and time. Orientations are held in Building 28A-103. Please arrive on time, late arrivals will not be allowed into the orientation. Parking is available in Lot D There is a $4.00 parking fee. 

EMT 90A | Mondays 9:00AM - 5:35PM (6 weeks)
EMT 90 | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:30AM - 4:05PM (8 weeks)

Vocational Programs

BusinessMt. SAC offers students various vocational introductory Business courses including: Accounting, Payroll and Tax Accounting, and Essential Office Skills. The courses provide students with basic skills combined with in-depth training to prepare them for entry-level positions.

ElectronicsAt Mt. SAC, our hands-on degree and certificate programs in these areas prepare you for various types of high-paying careers in electronics for various industries, including computer and networking companies, home and business security systems, cable providers, home theaters, and others.

Floral DesignThis sequence is offered in the evening only and can be completed in two years. Students completing all three courses will have skills and knowledge to seek jobs in floral design beyond entry-level positions, i.e., first-line supervision and/or management and Floral Designers.

Health CareersMt. SAC offers vocational courses and certificates in Health Careers including: Care Coordinator, Certified Nursing Assistant, In-Home Support Services/Personal Care Aide, Physical Therapist Aide, and Sports Medicine. Courses are tuition free, however students are responsible for the purchase of materials.
