The STEM Center provides in-person academic support in the Natural Sciences and Math through faculty open hours and peer-assisted tutoring in both one-on-one and group settings. Support sessions are tailored to individual needs and typically last between 1 to 1.5 hours. These sessions help students strengthen their understanding of coursework concepts and offer recommendations on successful study habits. Resources available at the STEM Center include anatomy models, microscopes, slides, lab coats, calculators, laptops, NSD-licensed computer programs, and more.

The Tech Ed Resource Center (TERC) offers tutoring in Career Education programs such as Aviation, Electronics, Respiratory Therapy, and other specialty subjects. In addition to subject-specific help, the TERC provides guidance with Math, General Writing, and Study Skills. Laptops, textbooks, and other specialized equipment (such as microscopes, electronics equipment, etc.) are available for student usage. Students can drop in anytime to work with tutors, study independently, or collaborate in groups. No appointments are necessary for tutoring or meeting with an academic counselor. Tutoring sessions occur in-person on a drop-in basis, no appointments necessary. Sessions can be conducted one-on-one or in groups.
