Spring 2024 Elections Referendums
Student Court Membership Referendum
According to the A.S. Constitution, Student Court is the Judicial Branch of Associated Students, and consists of five (5) total members: one (1) Chief Justice and four (4) Associate Justices. Student Court is currently the smallest branch of Associated Students and recent legislation proposed an increase in the number of Student Court positions in order to increase additional leadership opportunities, balance workload, and improve the functionality of Student Court. This referendum proposes an amendment to the A.S. Constitution that would allow an increase in Student Court membership from its current five (5) members to seven (7) total members. For more information, see A.S. Bill #6.
To be able to vote on this referendum item, you must be currently enrolled and have paid the Student Activities Fee. Voting will be available via your student portal on April 8, 2024 through April 11, 2024.
