Get registered in TWO steps!

Step 1: Complete the HSR Program Application

  • In order to enroll in a class, the student and/or their parent or legal guardian must submit this form.
    • The parent or legal guardian must "sign" at the bottom in order for the student to be accepted into the program.
  • Make sure that the counselor email is accurate or we may not be able to get your course approved.
  • Please be sure to use a personal email address like Gmail, iCloud, etc. since your school might block Mt. SAC emails and you won't receive anything from us.
  • Your counselor will approve, change, or deny your classes as part of their referral process.
  • Mt. SAC ID#:
    • If you don't know your Mt. SAC ID# or don't have one yet, just leave it blank!
    • If you are a new student, please be sure to complete the Step #2 (below) so we can create your Mt. SAC ID#

Step 2: Complete the SCE Application (if you don't have a Mt. SAC ID#)

You will know you are done with the application when you SUBMIT YOUR PIN. You are not done after you verify your email.

Don't have or don't know your Social Security Number? No problem! Just leave that question blank.

If the term for which you're applying isn't listed, just choose ANY TERM.

We highly recommend that you use either the video or visual guide below as the application can be tricky to navigate.

Visual Guide to the SCE App

The SCE App requires you to:

  1. Create an initial account
  2. Verify your account by clicking an emailed link
  3. Sign back in to complete the HIGH SCHOOL application
  4. Save your info and request a PIN
  5. Check your email for the PIN
  6. Return to the application to enter the PIN
  7. Submit your Application

While this is a lot of steps, the application is designed this way to ensure that your data is safe.

If you get stuck or don't receive your PIN, just email hsr@mtsac.edu and we can help!

Helpful Hints:

  • Please do NOT use your school email address to create your account as many schools block Mt. SAC emails and you won't be able to complete the application.
  • After you create your account, you will then get an email that allows you to sign into the application. When prompted, select the "High School Application" NOT the "General Application".
  • If your high school is NOT LISTED under "Which High School do you attend?", please choose any high school (sorry, we are getting it fixed!)
  • Don't have or don't know your Social Security Number? No problem! Just leave that question blank.
  • If you get stuck, need help, or don't receive your PIN, please review our guide to completing the application and/or email hsr@mtsac.edu!

Orientation

  • Academic Year (Fall-Spring) Students Only: Watch the orientation video before you start class so you know what to expect.
  • Summer students will have a live orientation via Zoom on or before their first day of school. Info will be sent out in May.

Check your email!

  • You will get a Smartsheet notice letting you know when your application has been processed.
  • If you are missing anything, we will email you with instructions.
    • The most frequent thing students are missing is the SCE Application. If you don't have a Mt. SAC ID#, please be sure to complete this!
  • The email from Mt. SAC Smartsheet may go to your junk mail, so check that folder as well.
  • If you haven't heard from us, that probably means your counselor hasn't approved your class yet. Feel free to check in with us at hsr@mtsac.edu for an update!
