HSR Registration

Before March 1 - Interest List Only

  • Submit the Summer 2026 Interest Form
  • We email you as soon as enrollment opens on March 1st

Starting March 1 - Get registered in TWO steps!

Step 1: Complete the HSR Program Application (Required for All Students)

AVAILABLE ON MARCH 1

Registration is currently closed for the Academic Year & Summer sessions. Once Summer enrollment opens on March 1st:

  • Parent/guardian consent required
  • Use a personal email (not a school email)
  • Leave Mt. SAC ID# blank if you don't have one yet
  • Your counselor will review the request and you will be notified via email when they approve or modify it

Step 2: Complete the SCE Application (if you don't have a Mt. SAC ID#)

You are finished only after submitting your PIN

Helpful Hints:

  • Don't use your school email (you may not receive the verification email or PIN)
  • You can leave the Social Security number field blank
  • Email hsr@mtsac.edu if you get stuck!

Steps to complete the SCE Application:

  1. Create an initial account by selecting "Start Here" at www.mtsac.edu/hsrapp 
  2. Verify your account by clicking an emailed link (check spam/junk if needed)
    • If you don't receive it, try creating the account again to confirm your email was entered correctly
    • Let us know (hsr@mtsac.edu) if you still don't get it within 24 hours
  3. Sign back in and scroll to the bottom to complete the High School Student Application
  4. Save your information and request a PIN
  5. Check your email for the PIN (check spam/junk if needed)
    • If you don't get it, re-request the PIN and confirm all fields saved
    • There may be a slight delay, so give at least an hour between each request
    • Let us know (hsr@mtsac.edu) if you don't get it within 24 hours
  6. Return to the application to enter the PIN
  7. Submit your Application

Check your email!

  • Watch for a Smartsheet confirmation to the email you used on the HSR Application
  • We will email you if anything is missing
  • No confirmation email from us yet? Your counselor may still be reviewing your request
  • Once your application is complete, we will register you - students do not register themselves

After You're Registered

  • Academic Year (Fall-Spring) Students - Watch the orientation video before you start class so you know what to expect
  • Summer Students - Required First-Day Orientation
    • Attend a live First-Day orientation with your instructor (Zoom link in Canvas)
    •  Choose one session on the first day: 4pm, 5:30pm, or 7pm
      • If you cannot attend on the first day, make-up orientations are available the first Tuesday & Wednesday at 7pm
    • The Zoom link will be in Canvas after we register you
    • An optional counselor-led orientation will also be offered in June
