Annual Report - Clery Act Disclosures

Mt. SAC is dedicated to providing a safe, healthy campus environment for all students, employees, and the public who visit our campus. The Public Safety Department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A Public Safety Officer is always on duty to respond to calls for assistance.

In 1990, the U.S. Congress enacted the "Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990," which requires colleges and universities to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. This law was renamed in 1992 to the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act."
