I was originally born in Wiesbaden Germany and have lived in many of the 50 states, as a military brat. I am also a disabled veteran, having proudly served as a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger protecting our valuable country. I love spending time with my wife and kids, and my big lovable cat Weizen. My hobbies are surfing, playing league soccer, riding Harleys, watching Bundesliga- Bayern Munchen, playing speed chess, and watching great movie series when I have time. I am currently in the process of securing my PhD in Philosophy at Claremont Graduate University. My research interests are in Virtues Ethics merged with Environmental Ethics. Overall, I love being a professor and feel blessed to be contributing back to the Mt SAC community from where it all started for me!
