The Facilities Department will conduct our annual Parking Inventory + Evaluation survey on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Surveyors from NDS (National Data & Surveying Services) will be on campus to perform hourly parking counts from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. They will be flying aerial drones to take photos of all the parking lots on campus, in addition to walking the lower levels of the parking structures. Surveyors will display their company identification while they are on campus. In the event of inclement weather, NDS is holding Thursday, September 12, 2024, as a backup date. There is no action required on your part.

This survey aims to evaluate current parking demand, the impact of COVID-19 on historical parking trends, and plans for expanded parking facilities in the future.

Proper notifications of drone usage are being made to the FAA, Brackett Field Airport, Mt. SAC Police and Campus Safety, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
