Sexual Violence Prevention & Awareness Training
Mandated For Students (AB 2683)
Step 1: Complete the Sexual Violence Prevention & Awareness Training for Students and take the Quiz at the end of the training.
The Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for students is an interactive course designed to educate students on the laws, prevention strategies, and resources related to sexual harassment. This training is essential for creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment where all members can thrive.
AB 2683 requires all enrolled college students to complete a "Sexual Violence & Awareness
Training For Students" provided by the educational institution, on an annual basis.

Step 2: Complete the Self-Certification Training Completion Form
Students may complete the self-certification training completion form after they have completed the Sexual Violence Prevention and Awareness Training for Students or if they completed an equivalent training at another California college in the last 12-months.
Certification of this training is valid for up to one-year from the date of training completion. Students enrolled at Mt. SAC will receive notice to complete the training or self-certify each year they are enrolled.
