RESD 200B  Techniques of Respiratory Therapy

Corequisite: RESD 202 and RESD 204

Clinical practice in the hospital setting. The student is expected to perform basic therapeutic modalities mastered in RESD 104 and RESD 110 and apply concepts learned in the first three semesters of the Respiratory Therapy Program. Instruction in the application of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic procedures performed in the management and treatment of adult and pediatric patients requiring respiratory care. Emphasis of intensive care and mechanical ventilator procedures are introduced.
