Exploration of digital modeling and the creation of fabrication shop drawings for integration into digital fabrication and prototyping processes. Students will gain hands-on experience with 3-dimensional (3D) digital modeling, documentation, and fabrication techniques, including laser cutting, Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machining, 3D printing, form casting, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, and related tools and machinery. Field trips required.
