Medium and low temperature multiplexed supermarket refrigeration systems that use hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) refrigerants. Explores the mechanical operation of multiplexed compressors based on refrigeration demand and the mechanical components required that include compressors, head pressure control devices, high and low side oil control systems, defrost systems, pressure regulators, subcoolers, and heat recovery systems. Field trips required.
