Humanities & Social Sciences Division

The Humanities and Social Sciences Division is Mt. SAC’s largest division. It includes the following areas of study: Art History, Communication, Geography, History, Language Arts (American Sign Language, American Language, English, and World Languages), Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sign Language and Interpreting Department, and Sociology. Support services for students like the Writing Center are also part of this division.
