What are you doing now? Apart from working on a second book of poetry, I'm an administrator at NYU's Creative Writing Program, where I also teach undergraduate creative writing workshops. How did your Mt. SAC experience impact your journey? Mt. SAC served as the site for a series of firsts, namely my first creative writing workshop (with the charming Bruce Williams) and first experience TA'ing for a humanities course. I doubt I would have become a writer and undergraduate instructor were it not for these instructive experiences early on in my education.
