Meet Our Peer Navigators
An Ha aha21@mtsac.edu |
My name is An Gia Ha, and I am pursuing a Business Administration with Transfer degree at Mt. SAC. I am a former ESL student, first-generation immigrant, and first-generation college student from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Growing up in a vast community of Chinese speakers in Vietnam, I spoke Cantonese at home and Vietnamese at school. Fast forward to now, I can speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and elementary Korean. In the future, I hope to become a User Interface/User Experience Designer and improve users’ relationships with technology. I am passionate about peer mentoring EOPS/CARE students because it will help students feel that they belong in a community of people from similar backgrounds and ambitions. I hope my contributions allow students to think that they are heard and valued by their peers in a remote setting and on campus. |
