Jennifer Galbraith

Jennifer Galbraith is a product of Community College. She was a first generation college student at Chaffey College where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Mathematics. Jennifer has been a full-time employee of Mt San Antonio College since 1988, when she started as a full-time professor in the Mathematics Department after having received a Master’s Degree in Pure Mathematics from Cal Poly Pomona.

Jennifer Galbraith has several years of faculty leadership experience while at Mt. San Antonio College. She served as Department Chair of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department for three years. After that experience she became involved in campus leadership for over 14 years. Jennifer served as Vice President and President of the Faculty Association as well as being a member of the Academic Senate’s Executive Board. During this period she was Lead Negotiator for the Faculty Association for six years and Grievance Chair for six years. Jennifer received the position of Interim Associate Dean of Business in August of 2013. That led to the position of Associate Dean. Jennifer has been the Dean of the Business Division since May, 2015. In this role she leads a Division of 5 Departments with 12 programs, the Center of Excellence, the Child Development Center, and the Carl D. Perkins Grant. Additionally, Jennifer was the District’s Lead Negotiator for several Faculty Negotiations. She is currently the District's voting member for the Los Angeles Regional Consortium.
