Mt. San Antonio College was awarded $1.4 Million from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to improve enrollment, persistence, and completion rates for students.  English faculty and staff collaborated to implement the following evidence-based basic skills classes and services: (1) Engl 1A + 66 (a co-requisite course); (2) English 90 (a new accelerated course); (3) contextualized English courses in eight career clusters; and (4) embedded tutors in English co-requisite, accelerated and contextualized learning coures.
