Chaparral Pet Hospital in Claremont, CA has provided pet owners of the San Diego, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and San Diego metropolitan areas with comprehensive general pet care and surgery since 1987.
Our office offers full-service medical treatment for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and exotic pets of all kinds. We see animals of all shapes and sizes, including exotic pets and animals with special needs. Our services include general wellness exams, dental care, x-rays and radiography, ultrasounds, vaccinations, microchipping, and more.
We are looking for an assistant to help in a busy two - doctor practice that cares for many different animals including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles.
Basic Job Duties & Requirements
Applicant must be able to interact with pet owners on a regular basis to facilitate care of their pets, assist doctors in exam rooms with proper handling and restraint, prepare and monitor patients during surgery, perform necessary treatments for admitted pets, fill prescriptions using ImproMed system, and follow necessary protocols for sanitation of the facility.
