Organizational Chart
The flow chart shows the structure of Mt. SAC and the relationships and relative ranks
of its positions.
The top of the chart is comprised of the Board of Trustees: Dr. Manuel Baca, Ms. Rosanne
Bader, Mr. Jay F. Chen, Ms. Judy Chen-Haggerty, Esq., Dr. David Hall, Mr. Robert Hidalgo,
Ms. Laura Santos, and Ms. Elizabeth Santos, Student Trustee.
Directly under the Board of Trustees is Dr. William Scroggins, President and Chief
Executive Officer of Mt. SAC.
Under Dr. Scroggins are five reporting branches of Mt. SAC: Administrative Services,
Instruction, Student Services, Human Resources, and the Office of the President.
In the Office of the President are four reporting bodies: the Executive Assistant
to the President & CEO and Board of Trustees, the Executive Director of the Mt. SAC
Foundation, the Director of Marketing and Communication, and the Director of Public
Affairs.
The Administrative Services branch is led by the Vice President of Administrative
Services and has nine bodies directly reporting to the Vice President: the Executive
Assistant to the Vice President, the Interim Associate Vice President, the Chief Compliance
Officer/College Budget Specialist, the Chief of Police, the Chief Technology Officer,
The Director of Risk Management, The Director of SacBookRac Bookstore, the Director
of Facilities, Planning, and Management, and the Director of Technical Services.
The Instruction branch is led by the Vice President of Instruction and has 14 bodies
directly reporting to the Vice President: the Executive Assistant to the Vice President,
the Associate Vice President, the Dean of Arts, the Dean of Business, the Dean of
Humanities and Social Sciences, the Dean of Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance, the
Dean of Library and Learning Resources, the Dean of Natural Sciences, the Dead of
School of Continuing Education, the Dean of Technology and Health, the Director of
Grants, the Director of Research and Institutional Effectiveness, the Director of
Special Projects: Professional and Organizational Development, and the Director of
Title V Grant.
The Associate Dean of Arts reports to the Dean of Arts.
The Director of Honors Program, the Director of Writing Center, and the Associate
Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences report to the Dean of Humanities and Social
Sciences.
The Director of Center of Excellence, the Director of Child Development Center, and
the Associate Dean of Business report to the Dean of Business.
The Associate Dean of Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance report to the Dean of Kinesiology,
Athletics and Dance.
The Director of Heath Careers Resource Center and the Associate Dean of Technology
and Health report to the Dean of Technology and Health.
The Associate Dean of Natural Sciences report to the Dean of Natural Sciences.
The Director of Special Projects, the Director of English Language Learners (ESL),
the Director of Education for Older Adults/Adults with Disabilities, the Director
of Community Contract Education, the Director of Adult Education, and the two Associate
Deans of School of Continuing Education report to the Dean of School of Continuing
Education.
The Director of Learning Assistance reports to the Dean of Library and Learning Resources.
The Student Services branch is led by the Vice President of Student Services and has
eight bodies directly reporting to the Vice President: the Executive Assistant to
the Vice President, the Dean of Enrollment Management, the Dean of Accessibility Resource
Centers for Students, the Dean of Student Services, the Dean of Counseling, the Associate
Dean of Student Success and Equity, the Director of Arise Program, the Director of
Financial Aid, and the Director of Assessment and Matriculation.
The Director of CalWORKs, the Director of Extended Opportunity Programs and Services
and CARE, and the Director of Student Life report to the Dean of Student Services.
The Director of Aspire, the Director of TRIO Programs, the Director of High School
Outreach, the Director of Career and Transfer Services, and the Associate Dean of
Counseling report to the Dean of Counseling.
The Director of Student Health Services and the Director of Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Services report to the Dean of Accessibility Resource Centers for Students.
The Human Resources branch is led by the Vice President of Human Resources and has
three bodies directly reporting to the Vice President: the Executive Assistant to
the Vice President, the Director of HR Operations and Employee Services, and the Director
of Equal Employment Opportunity Programs
