Tours and Treats

Shuttles are provided to help you get around our beautiful 420-acre campus. Two buses and a shuttle for those in wheelchairs will run continuous laps around campus. Depending on the number of people boarding and disembarking, shuttles can take about 30 minutes per lap.

Hayride Tour of Farm

(Fall Into Ag fields, Shuttle Stop 1)
Hayrides beginning at 12 p.m. running every 20 minutes
Among the many activities at Fall Into Ag is a hayride tour of our 250-acre Farm. Explore our incredible agriculture, farming, horticulture, and animal care programs.

Aeronautics Simulator Test Flight

(Shuttle Stop 2)
Continuous test drives from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fly by the Aeronautics Department in Building 28B-112 and try out the new motion simulator and fixed simulator as you discover the largest two-year aviation program in California.

Wildlife Sanctuary Tours

(Shuttle Stop 3)
Tours begin at 10:30 a.m ., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
Enjoy close encounters with native plants and animals at our Wildlife Sanctuary, a rare 10-acre protected and cultivated preserve. This tour involves walking on uneven terrain. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Art Gallery

(Shuttle Stop 4)
Open extended hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mt. SAC is one of the few California community colleges operating a professional Art Gallery featuring the finest works of renowned artists. During your visit, see Close Values: The Legacy of Karl Benjamin, a retrospective of the internationally renowned local painter.

Farmers Market

(Shuttle Stop 4)
Open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fresh foods and hand-made crafts await at Jack Newe's Farmers Market, sponsored by the Regional Chamber of Commerce - San Gabriel Valley. The Farmers Market is open each Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Mt. SAC’s Parking Lot B.

Cash for College

(Shuttle Stop 4)
Event for pre-registered attendees
High school seniors and/or their guardians pre-registered to attend the free Cash for College event to get help with completing the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application.

Randall Planetarium

(Shuttle Stop 5)
Continuous shows between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Randall Planetarium equips the community to explore our remarkable galaxy. The facility has a 35-foot-diameter hemispherical dome and seats up to 75 persons for astronomy classes, field trips, private events and public shows.
