Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9, 10, or 11 a.m. and at 2, 3, or 4 p.m.
Tours are given by reservation only. Please make your reservation at least two weeks in advance by contacting the Mt. SAC Events Office, Tour Scheduling, (909) 274-4794. Tours of the Mt. SAC Wildlife Sanctuary are available for groups of 10 to 30 individuals (including teachers or parents).
Visit the Teachers' Area and the Kids' Sanctuary for suggested lesson plans and activities for a more productive and fun-filled visit.
Most paths in the Wildlife Sanctuary have packed dirt or decomposed granite surfaces. There also are some wooden walkways and bridges across waterways. All are wide enough to easily accommodate a wheelchair. Because the Sanctuary is intended as natural habitat, there may be leaves or fallen fruits and nuts on a path. Also, on one path, a large tree has fallen across the path and is providing habitat. This is the only path not accessible to those using wheelchairs or walking aids.
