Applying to transfer to a four-year university is an important step in reaching your educational goals. Mt. SAC's Transfer Services offers transfer application assistance in the form of workshops and one-on-one help. Below are the links and deadlines for applying to CSUs, UCs, private and out-of-state universities. Note that some campuses have additional and/or different application requirements and deadlines for students majoring in performing arts, visual arts, architecture, design, tv, cinema, film, nursing, and related majors. Application deadlines and procedures may also vary for international students. And, not all majors may be open each term or may have different deadlines. Check with your desired four-year institution or Mt. SAC's Career and Transfer Services or Counseling for details.
California State Universities (CSU)
To apply to any of the 23 campuses in the CSU system, you need to apply online at CSU Mentor.

1. Some campuses may require mid-year applicants (spring & winter) to meet higher admissions standards. Some campuses do not accept mid-year applicants.
2. Most campuses will not accept applicants for the summer session. Check campus for more information!
University of California (UC)
To apply to campuses of the UC system, apply online at the UC application website.

Private Colleges and Universities
Transfer application deadlines vary from campus to campus for private universities. It is best to refer to your desired private university's website for specific information on application procedures and deadlines. More information on California's private, non-profit universities including links to their websites is available through the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU) website. If you are considering transferring to an out-of-state university, note that admissions requirements, procedures and deadlines can vary greatly from campus to campus. We highly recommend that you connect with a transfer admissions counselor at the out-of-state universities you are interested in to get further details on what courses they will accept as well as specific admissions requirements and deadlines. Below is just a handful of out-of-state universities that Mt. SAC students transfer to and their transfer application deadlines. Note that deadlines are subject to change.
