About the Student Center |
| The Student Center serves as the focal point for
student activities and programs. The Center creates a supportive
and relaxing environment where students can interact with one
another and with staff and faculty. The Student Center serves
as a meeting place for social functions, activities, lectures,
clubs and student government. The Center offers activities,
games and a relaxing place to do homework, watch television
or just chill. The Center is also the place to find information
about off-campus housing. |
| Free wireless internet access is now available in the Student
Center. This has been made possible by the Associated Students
through the Student Activities Fee. |
| Games are available for checkout
at the Student Center Information Desk, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4
p.m. You must present a current Mt. SAC Student ID Card at the
time of checkout. The following games and equipment are available
for checkout: |
- Table Tennis tables and equipment
- Foosball table and equipment
- Boggle
- Chess
- Chinese Checkers
- Labyrinth
- Mancala
- Yahtzee
- Puzzle Cube
- Trivial Pursuit
- Monopoly

| The following guidelines are designed
to maintain an inviting and relaxing environment for Mt. SAC
students. |
- A current Mt. SAC I.D. is required to use the Center,
and it must be presented to staff when requested.
- Adherence to the Student Discipline policy is required.
- Food and beverages are not allowed in the Center.
- Climbing and jumping on/over the furniture will not be
tolerated.
- Respectful behavior is required at all times.
- Profanity and disruptive/inappropriate behavior will not
be tolerated.
- Tables are not to be used for sitting.
- Magazines and newspapers must remain the Center.
- Do not leave personal items unattended. The center is
not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

could result in removal from Center and/or a request for disciplinary
