The Special Admit Program allows a limited number of high school Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors an opportunity to take advanced scholastic or vocational courses at Mt. San Antonio College. In addition, Mt. San Antonio College may admit highly gifted elementary and secondary students through the 9th grade level for enrollment to the College if they are deemed eligible to participate. In addition to providing specific talents and giftedness for enrolling in a specialized course, the student must meet all of the same criteria required of 10th – 12th grade Special Admit Program students.
Only college level courses can be taken. College courses cannot be taken to make up a high school deficiency. Students needing to make up a high school deficiency can apply to participate in the High School Referral Program. Please go to the Community Education Center in Building 30 or call 909-594-5611 ext. 4937.
Students who have previously enrolled and who have dropped their courses and/or have not made satisfactory progress will not be allowed to continue their participation in the Special Admit program.
