Employers On Campus

Local employers come onto the campus throughout the year to meet with students face-to-face, seeking to fill various vacancies within their company. Contact with these representatives will often lead to interviews within a few days, and some will actually conduct interviews on campus. Employers are on campus for career fairs, information sessions, on-campus interviews, employer panels and for events during Career Awareness Month every April.  To find out which employers will be on-campus recruiting, including dates and times, you can consult our calendar of activities and preview the information below.

 

 Career Fairs

Every fall and spring semester, Career Services offers career fairs with employers who are looking to hire Mt. SAC students and alumni.  Please note that if you plan to attend the career fair, there is no need to RSVP, but do come dressed to impress with a well-written resume ready to dazzle the employers!  Our upcoming career fair for fall semester is:

Information Sessions

Employers often want to make students aware of their company, including the benefits of working at that organization and to make students aware of possible current employment opportunities with their company.  Therefore, Career Services holds employer information sessions to provide a venue for this information.  Companies such as Verizon and Wells Fargo have presented information sessions at Mt. SAC.  Watch for upcoming information sessions!

 

On Campus Interviews

Employers who hire large numbers of Mt. SAC students and alumni sometimes will conduct interviews on our campus coordinated through Career Services.  Past employers who have done so include UPS, FedEx, and the U.S. Census Bureau.
